Jim faced every challenge head on, there has not been a better example of a great human being in my life, he was rock solid thru every situation, on and off of the race course. Jim examines the first race car that Dad drove that did not have his direct involvement. My first SCCA drivers school (back in the days when 2 school weekends were required to achieve a license) had our team of the late Paul McGraith and Jim all pumped up after finishing second in the closed wheel group, Carlsbad Raceway July 1985. Jim pointed out the best way to get things done, not only for me but for generations of racers, Riverside Raceway, 1985.Jim shares a laugh with my grandmother Wanda. Jim told many people how it is, arm in arm with my aunt Evelyn, telling my late Uncle Edward his point of view.
